Bacon-Wrapped Teriyaki Dog with a Dr. Brown's Black Cherry SodaFor this trip, I decided to go to Fab Hot Dogs because it was on the show called, "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives" featuring Guy Fieri. Everything shown on TV looked drool-worthy so I knew I had to go to this place the next day. They have regular hot dogs, specialty hot dogs, fries, hamburgers and other delicious side entrees. I felt that they have a nice variety of items to choose from and I love how you can customize your meal.
I ordered a customized hot dog called the Bacon Wrapped Teriyaki Dog, which isn't even on the menu, but I saw someone order the Teriyaki Dog on the show and a Dr. Brown's Black Cherry soda. This hot dog contains a bacon-wrapped sausage, onions, pineapples and teriyaki sauce. This hot dog was delicious and totally worth the trip. The only warning I have is to wait for the hot dog to cool down before you eat it because the oil from the sausage can burn your mouth/throat. Also, this place is pretty small so you might have a hard time finding a place to sit, but that shouldn't deter you from giving this place a try and make sure you get there early because when I got here at 4:00pm, they ran out of hot dogs so they had to close for the day. Overall, I see myself making plenty of trips to this place. The customer service and food is fantastic.
